The Great Book Swapping Machine has Landed!

That's right, The Great Book Swapping Machine written by Emma Allen and published by the National Library of Australia is here. For ages 4+ it is a story of a mysterious piece of space junk that lands near Fabio's house in the outback. His dad dismisses it as space junk and calls the Space Agency to take it away, but Fabio and Leila from the neighbouring property discover that this 'junk' is so much more. Friendships are formed and the community comes together to fight for the machine!

A story about books, reading and the importance of community.

There is also an informative history of libraries with photos.

You can purchase this book at all good bookstores - ask your local!

Here are some images that didn't make the cut - but I still like them!
