Welcome to my site and thank for looking! I'm Lisa - an illustrator based in Melbourne, Australia. I specialise in children's book illustration and have illustrated over 20 books for various publishers.

 

I absolutely love creating characters and their worlds, and bringing great stories to life.

My favourite mediums are coloured pencil, dry pastel, acrylic and watercolour paints - sometimes alone, sometimes and mix of any all or any of these. I also use Procreate on iPad Pro.

​

When I'm not drawing or painting, you will probably find me out on my bike (where I find plenty of inspiration), baking or patting cats - in fact, I will stop just about anywhere if I spy one! I also love trawling op shops and second hand places for any curiosites and bargains - especially vintage Australian snow domes to add to my collection of nearly 200.

My most recent book, The Great Book Swapping Machine written by Emma Allen, published by The National Library of Australia is out now, and I have two secret books in the works right now!
